Overwatch Unveils Winston Spitfire Skin

It’s no secret through the years, Overwatch has been able to successfully add characters, character updates and new skins in their game for gamers to use. Some of these skins have been influenced by teams with now another coming your way. Overwatch League has decided to commemorate the inaugural season champions London Spitfire with a new skin release. A year after the championship win, Spitfire was surprised with an unveiling of a new skin with a vintage, Spitfire branded design for Winston named Flying Ace. The Flying Ace skin can be seen with Winston wearing a life-preserver vest, goggles, hat and pilot gloves all in Spitfire’s branding colors. Gamers will be able to access this skin in Overwatch on August 29th until September 16th.

World of Warcraft Servers Overpopulating: Blizzard Asks Fans to Switch to Classic Servers.

Blizzard has urged WoW players to switch to a newly-open Stalagg if they have reserved a slot on the PvP Herod realm for the official launch later this month since its current rate is leading to mass overpopulation. At this rate, they are predicting an excess of 10,000 players or more on this server if players don’t switch. Blizzard is hoping for Stalagg to fill up before they open any new PvP realms in order to try and spread the population as evenly as possible for the launch on August 27th. If users can follow their advice, it can help deviate any problems down the line and help for a smoother playing experience.

Blizzard Entertainment has posted the exact date, players can expect to begin Diablo III’s 18th season. On August 23rd, players can be introduced to the Season of Triune along with a new update. Mortal Combat Reboot Cast Release So Far

It’s been 24 years since the release of the 1995 Mortal Combat movie and now we have a reboot to look forward to coming to theaters March 5, 2021. Video Game Commercial Director, Simon McQuoid and producer, James Wan will be bringing Greg Russo’s script to life. Now we can picture a little of what this reboot will be like with our updated cast list.

First on our list is actor and martial artist, Joe Taslim playing the ice master Sub-Zero. Taslim is best known for his roles in Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Beyond, and Warrior.

Next, Liu Kang will be played by the Black Ranger in the 2017 Power Rangers, Ludi Lin.

Jax Briggs will be played by Supergirl’s James Olsen, Mehcad Brooks. Before his four season role for CW, he has also has had roles in True Blood, Desperate Housewives, and Nobody’s Fool.

Australian actress Sisi Stringer will play the evil twin to Kitana, Mileena. This will be a debut performance for Stringer.

Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf DLC

For those who have purchased the Kombat Pack, the second out of six fighter has been released. The first fighter available was Shang Tsung and now NetherRealm has released Nightwolf available for download on August 13th if your purchased the Kombat Pack. If not, Nightwolf can be purchased separately on August 20th. Nightwolf will have his signature moves added, but we will also see him using spirits of a bear, wolf, and hawk into his move list. It is expected Sindel and Spawn to be next with rumors also teasing Ash from the Evil Dead.

Nintendo Switch Model Upgrade

Nintendo will be releasing a new upgraded Nintendo Switch with an improved processor which in turn will have better battery life with a life span of 4.5 to 9 hours off the dock rather than the 2.5 to 6.5 hours life span currently. If you don’t currently own a Nintendo Switch but considered, now you will get a chance to purchase the better model. However, current Switch users won’t be able to trade in their old device for new model except for one circumstance. Nintendo announced the new model on July 17th, therefore the only way you can switch in your model for the new upgrade is if you purchased it after July 17th. If this is the case for you, then you are able to trade in for free, but still pay for shipping and insurance.

Xbox Game Pass and One Deals

Xbox Game Pass allows gamers to pay a monthly subscription price to gain access to a large library of games available for download and play. Hundreds of games are accessible in the library with new games continuously being added every month while the older games are also cycled out. If you don’t already have game pass, Microsoft is currently offering a new introduction deal for Game Pass. You can subscribe to Game Pass on either your PC or Xbox for the first month for just $1 and can also pick three months for $5 instead of $9.99. It has not been announced how long this promotion will be held so if you are not already a subscriber, you have to move fast to catch this deal. If you’re like me who can’t always buy new game or don’t game share with a lot of people, then I definitely recommend getting the game pass.

Next month on September 15th, the Xbox One exclusive, Forza Motorsport 6 and its DLC, will be removed from the digital store. Therefore the game and DLC will no longer be available for purchase anywhere. If you already own the game, you will still be good to play as normal with its add-on content. IF you don’t have the game yet, but is interested in playing, then it is free on Xbox One with Games with Gold and can be downloaded from there. So if you’re a Forza fan and is interested, just be sure to get your copy before its vanish date.

That’s it for this weekly update. Be sure to subscribe to get notified of new posts and to follow these weekly updates. Until next time my Bombshells, Bye!
